The Heart of the City bike tour is dedicated to travelers who want to discover the most lively, elegant and atmospheric side of Rome’s historic center. It is the perfect itinerary for riding through squares, narrow streets, bridges and historic neighborhoods, experiencing the city at a relaxed pace and from a closer, more authentic perspective.
Starting from Trastevere, the tour immediately introduces you to one of Rome’s most characteristic areas. From here, the route reaches Santa Cecilia, Tiber Island and the Jewish Ghetto, places full of history, tradition and charm. The tour continues towards Piazza Farnese and Campo de’ Fiori, two very different but equally important squares in the life of central Rome.
Riding through historic streets and hidden corners, you will reach Ponte Sant’Angelo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Church of Sant’Ignazio and Piazza di Pietra. Each stop offers a chance to experience Rome up close: not only its famous monuments, but also architectural details, local atmospheres and less obvious corners of the city.
The itinerary continues towards Piazza di Spagna, Via Margutta, Piazza del Popolo, Santa Maria della Pace and Via Giulia, before returning to Trastevere through Ponte Sisto. This is an easy and enjoyable bike tour, ideal for those looking for a guided bike experience in central Rome, combining art, history, local atmosphere and urban beauty.
The visitor’s astonishment will fill us up with pride and joy, just like a child who is happy to perceive his mother as an object of the people’s high appreciation and admiration. Passion for the old charming Vespas and bicycles has done the rest, making us choose these vehicles to lead you right through the City, in depth. These are the emotions that we will be proud to share with those, who, on the occasion of their visit to Rome, perhaps for the first time, will choose us as their “Cicero” (guides).
